October was fun, but now it is November and we have even more fun and exciting news coming through this month! With the holiday season approaching, we are preparing to launch an amazing giving campaign like nothing we’ve ever done before. Teaming up with Communities in Schools and Porter-Leath, we will announce and kick off our Learn & Play Initiative November 1st at 3:30pm with a special Facebook Live video with Knowledge Tree Owner, Andy Gattas. During the Facebook Live, we’ll be announcing the details of our Learn & Play Initiative, including an unparalleled donation being made to benefit the kids right here in the Mid-South.

My Dragon and Me

written by: David Biedrzycki

A boy lists all the reasons he wants a pet dragon and describes how he would take care of it. Includes tips for selection (why you shouldn’t choose a three-headed dragon), discipline (what to do if your dragon misbehaves), and diet (why you should never give a dragon broccoli).

My Brother Is a Superhero

Written by David Solomons

Luke Parker was just your average comic book fan until his boring, teacher’s pet, helps-old-ladies-across-the-street brother Zack got turned into a superhero. Luke can’t believe the unfairness of it all—he’s the one with the encyclopedic knowledge of everything from Ant-Man to Wolverine! At least he can help Zack—aka Star Guy—with all the important parts of becoming a superhero, like using his newfound powers and deciding whether or not to wear a cape. But when Star Guy gets into super-size trouble, it’s up to Luke—and his intrepid neighbor, Lara—to rescue his big brother and, with a little luck, help him save the world.

Summer Ave Knowledge Tree’s Lego Club is a STEM inspired event that gives participants the opportunity to use their imaginations to build creations under the direction of a monthly theme, with a top secret sub-theme that is only revealed at the beginning of the build! This is a free event, we ask, but do not require, that you please let us know in advance that you are coming. All creations are displayed in store between Lego Clubs!
