Although Originally an Irish Holiday, Saint Patrick’s Day has spread across the globe. The Irish celebration of the life of Ireland’s Patron Saint, St. Patrick’s Day is also day we celebrate Irish culture. Saint Patrick’s Day was adopted by the US around the turn of the 20th Century in cities with a high Irish immigrant population. Now, every March 17th people around the world celebrate Irish heritage and culture with their own fun and interesting traditions.
